About
FDOA (FIVESTAR design office and associates) is a Fukuoka-based design practice founded in 2018. We work across interior, product, graphic, and architectural scales — from a single chair to a complete restaurant, from a logotype to a building facade.
Our process begins with listening. Every project carries its own constraints, desires, and stories. We translate these into spaces and objects that feel both thoughtfully considered and effortless — so that everything comes together into a comfortable, pleasant experience.
We design shops, homes, furniture, products, and more — without limiting ourselves to any single field, adapting flexibly to projects large and small.
FDOA（FIVESTAR design office and associates）は、2018年に福岡で設立したデザイン事務所です。インテリア、プロダクト、グラフィック、建築と、椅子一脚から店舗一棟まで、幅広いスケールで設計に取り組んでいます。
プロセスは、いつも聞くことから始まります。すべてのプロジェクトには固有の制約、要望、そして物語があります。それらを、思慮深く考察しながら自然体に感じられる空間やものへと翻訳する。心地よい体験につながるように。
